The flour mill is the facility at which multiple processes are applied to the wheat to turn it into flour. After the grain has been delivered to the mill by boat or truck, it is first thoroughly cleaned to remove foreign bodies then mixed with other types of wheat. The mixture of wheats is stored in a silo until it is time to convey it to the mill machinery for milling. Milling is a complex process comprised of multiple repeated stages in which numerous machines are used to crush the wheat seeds and separate the flour from the bran.
